As a congregation, Huber Heights Church Of God supports a number of local and international missions and ministries. We understand that we do not have the ability to provide such ministries within our congregation so we support through prayer and financial contributions to others that can and do minister to those in need. We believe that the missions we support encourages the Great Commission that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ commanded us to live out by teaching The Good News to those whom they are working with and building relationships with.

The congregation supplies extra funds for missions projects through faith promise funds. These are funds given over and above regular tithes and offerings in faith that God will supply the resources for His mission work in the world. These funds go to support mission projects determined annually that have included scholarships for students attending Christian colleges, extra missionary support, the COG radio ministry, and other special needs.

GOSPEL MISSION
The Gospel Mission operates a comprehensive inner-city mission near downtown Dayton, Ohio. It is open to men and women, young and old, of any race, belief, or circumstance. Their program begins with the necessities such as 80,000 nutritionally balanced meals served per year. But their focus is to break the cycle of shattered relationships and alienation. Restored people can apply God’s love and power to strengthen their lives. Renewed, they can regard others as more important than themselves. Many are motivated to share God’s blessings in many ways. Lives are being changed daily by meeting Jesus Christ and accepting Him as Lord and Savior at The Gospel Mission. Practical help is physical, emotional, and spiritual. Take a closer look at the information on their website gospelmissiondayton.org. It shows how we try to meet the needs of a person, as Christ would have us do it.
MIAMI VALLEY WOMEN'S CENTER
The Miami Valley Women’s Center helps women of all ages and backgrounds of life to make an informed decision about their pregnancy. They help their patients think through choices and understand how they can still reach their future goals. They also offer free ultrasounds for the purpose of confirming pregnancy, which are performed by our volunteer physician, Dr. William Stalter. Dr. Stalter is an OB/GYN physician and former Chief of Staff at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Their volunteer nurses are available to perform the pregnancy tests and to assist Dr. Stalter in his exams/ultrasounds. Being undesirably pregnant isn't the end of the world, even though it feels that way sometimes. Miami Valley Women’s Center understands that women have choices, but that they need to make the best ones for them and their future.
